Recycling is mandatory in the state of Wisconsin. All cabins are supplied with a container for aluminum. There are two co-mingle containers on site for glass, plastic, and tin. Paper and cardboard is generally burned in the community fire pit and can be placed there. All other garbage is to go into the large dumpster.
The three septic systems we have can only handle one ply toilet tissue or tissue that is septic safe. Although we provide the tissue, many guests tend to bring their own. If you choose to supply your own tissue, it must be one ply. Tissue of this nature is the only product that is to be flushed.
Fires in the community pit are permitted as long as the weather allows for safe burning. If conditions are questionable, please ask the management. We prefer small fires for safety reasons. Never leave a fire unattended and upon leaving, make sure it will extinguish quickly.
If you should rearrange or move furniture, dishes, linen, etc. from one cabin to another, please put the items back to their original location.
Life vests are highly encouraged for children while on the docks, in the water, and on the raft. Safety is one of our top concerns. There is to be no running on the stairs or dock system. There is no life guard on duty so swimming is at your own risk.
Remind your children that the rocks on the shoreline are there for a reason and should not be thrown into the lake.
We are pet friendly and will continue to be with your assistance. Pets should not be left alone in the cabins without being contained in a kennel. They should be leashed and picked up after.
